"Elisabeth Klerck Nilssen is a dynamic and experienced business leader, entrepreneur, consultant, and journalist. With an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics and a strong background in business and development in East Africa, she brings a unique skill set to the table. Elisabeth’s passion is to help companies, organizations, and foundations create value, scale projects, and build strategic partnerships that drive real change. With deep expertise in renewable energy, communication, and operational leadership, Elisabeth has been instrumental in delivering on-the-ground solutions in emerging markets, particularly in East Africa.

Norges Vel drives local economic and community development both nationally and internationally—focusing on agriculture, aquaculture, renewable energy, food systems, and entrepreneurship—all framed within the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Their international work supports small‑scale producers in countries across Africa and elsewhere, helping subsistence farmers transition into commercial actors tied into local and global value chains.
Global University Academy
The Global University Academy unites universities and partners to support UNHCR’s 15by30 goal. By pooling global expertise and resources, it seeks to provide recognised higher education for refugees, displaced learners, and local communities, aiming to reach one million people by 2038.
